Rocks Under Water

Tõnis Hoopkaup, head of the fishing collective farm, receives two significant presents for his wedding day - a new trawler and a cigarette case with the image of an anchor. Tõnis hopes to go to deep-sea fishing with his new ship and get ahead of the competing collective farms. The cigarette case reminds him of his pre-war dreams and disappointments. Tõnis is married to Riina but he is attracted by Lidia who looks like someone he was in love with long time ago and whose father was once known as "the king of the fishing village".
