Once You Mock the Field ... (1981)
Original title: Narri põldu üks kord
The documentary is dedicated to land improvement, agricultural tools and the peculiarity of Estonian soil - the non-chernozemic zone. A special attention is being given to melioration and soil preparation, but also to the rational use of soil preparation tools in bigger production enterprises. Human relation to the prepared land is being viewed, namely the moments of alienation of the relation. The filmmakers have chosen publicist means of expression both in image and in text.
