Documentary about mining and processing the dolomite of the island of Saaremaa. The stone is a valuable construction material as well as it can be used for making fine arts, examples of the results can be found in buildings in Estonia, the big cities Moscow and Leningrad in the Soviet Union. The film gives an overview about mining in Kaarma quarry and the filmmakers also visit the summer camp of sculptors. The film is in Russian.
