The documentary shows important places and institution, people and city atmoshpere in Tartu and introduces the history of town, important buildings and sites of cultural history. Linguist Paul Ariste, neurosurgeon Ernst Raudam and astrophysicist Lauri Luud are talking to the camera. The film combines the city views from the past and at the present moment.
