Sünopsis

Filmmakers are searching for the similarties between the young people and a young state, they both grow up. The film tells about the members of the girls's choir of Estonian Television who started to sing together at a very young age in a state that was regaining its independence also with the support of singing at that time. The film documents the period of 1990-2004, starting from the time of the so-called Singing Revolution and Estonia regaining its independence until the joining the European Union. Filmmakers follow the process of growing up of the girls during an era full of changes. At the end of the film the girls are grown-up and Estonia is a member of European Union. The documentary was filmed from February 2002 to February 2003. Archival materials from Estonian Television have been used.
