Vormsi island lives by its own laws. In summer the island bursts with life, in winter there is almost nothing going on. Tanja, the village shopkeeper, came to live on the island a few years ago. Together with her husband Ervin who is a ship's cook they live in Rumpo village close to the coast. The village shop is always the midpoint of the island; every morning at 8am Tanja opens the casement windows and the door despite the season. Will there be anyone coming in today? Will there be a few hundred visitors?
