Johannes Hint (September 20, 1914 – September 5, 1985) was an Estonian scientist of technology, doctor of technical sciences, writer Aadu Hint's brother. He is the author behind more than 200 scientific publications, 62 inventions, 28 patents. His inventions are still used today in Germany, Austria, USA, Japan and Russia. And yet, Johannes Hint died in Patarei prison in Tallinn at the age of 70. In November 1981, Johannes Hint was arrested because of false accusations.
