The documentary talks about Juhan Väljaots's (1869-1941) early years in Estonia, his participation in revolution movement in Bulgaria, his activities as a journalist and the filmmakers meet his descendants. Juhan Väljaots's relatives, his daugther and grandchild share their memories about Juhan, also people who met him in Bulgaria recollect their memories. The documentary shows illustrative photographs and excerpts of films.
