Mari's mother is dead and her father is a drunkard. Life in an orphanage seems impossible but she has nowhere to go. She must get used to live without a home full of warmth and love, together with rough fellow orphans. Fortunately, there is Tauri who behaves well but for some reason other children don't favor him. Robi is a guy who likes to break the rules, thus being popular among the kids; Mari thinks that Robi should be hated instead.
