When the filmmakers director Andres Sööt and cameraman Mati Kask went to the high plain of Antarctic, the coldest point on Earth. They filmed on the South Pole from December 1968 to February 1969. Neutral, seemingly circumstantial film frames about the life of polar explorers and breathtakingly beautiful views of nature express the immeasurable indifference of the white hell of snow.
