Life's Work

Johan Eichfeld (1893–1989) was an Estonian biologist, agricultural scientist and statesman; doctor of agriculture (1936), member of the Academy of Sciences of Estonian SSR (1946) and president (1950-1968).
Filmmakers observe Johan Eichfeld's work and life when Johan is ninety years old. The elderly academician is still active, working in his rose garden, talking to the students of the school in Väätsa parish that is also Johan's birth place.
