Estonia and Livonia at the beginning of 13th century. German Order has come to conquer and baptize local people living in harmony with nature. Uru, a young man with Estonian roots, has been taken as a prisoner to Europe where he acquires education. He is looking for balance between staying an Estonian and becoming an European. Behind Uru's inner conflict are complicated international intrigues and crazy adventures; the future of his homeland depends on him. Uru together with his friend Tugis fight with Hippolyt, the cruel Vogt of Jurmala. Also, Uru must win the love of his loved one, Ilge. But are Uru's fellow Estonians ready for freedom?
