In the beginning of the winter, the bay is freezing over and it becomes an unearthly icy desert. The weather is inconsistent and the ice conditions are always changing. Nevertheless, a mysterious force brings a mob of ice fishermen to the area: risk takers, opportunists and adrenaline junkies. They are passionate fishermen. The film is a poetic dialogue between the bay and the fishermen.
