Kopli was once a notable worker people neighborhood, time, economy and negligent urban planning led to a rapid abandonment of the area, turning it into almost a ghost town with a bad reputation. Gentrification took over and is trying to modernize and give a new life to the area, turning the once called dangerous neighborhoods into playgrounds.
