Old Men and the Sea (2020)

A film about one strong memory that even a severe illness cannot defy.

Johannes (Lembit Peterson), a retired sea captain, is now a patient of a retirement home. Suffering from severe memory problems, he is deprived of his past and stuck in the empty, confusing present. As coordinates from an overheard radio drama make Johannes venture out to save a drowning ship, his memories are gradually awoken. The captain, led by the mysterious mirage of his once lost ship, follows it to the very end - into the open sea.
