The Lion Blanket (2020)

One winter day, Berta’s (Katariina Unt) estranged sister Helena disappears. She leaves behind her 8-year-old daughter Klara (Leene Vugts), who Berta struggles to connect with.
The missing persons investigation leads Berta to the morgue, where she hopes for a swift answer to the ongoing question of Helena’s fate, no matter how grim it may be. She must view several bodies that could be her sister, each with its own tragic story.
How will Berta reconcile what she learns at the morgue with her memories of her sister? And will she be able to earn Klara’s trust, knowing what she knows?
