I, The Politician (2020)

The director asks an Estonian politician a series of uncomfortable questions and tries to get insight of his everyday life.

The documentary revolves around Hanno Pevkur, who is Estonia’s ex-interior Minister and a member of the center-right party called Reform Party (Reformierakond). The director appears in the interview with Hanno Pevkur. The questions of the interview have been conducted in a certain rhythm to allow the tension to grow. An interview is made with Hanno Pevkur’s son- thereby, the director capture the truth behind closed doors- and Jüri Ratas, Estonia’s Prime Minster.  This documentary gives answers to questions what politician usually avoid and shows never seen footage of Estonia’s most popular politician.
