The Baltic Institute has organized Jaan Kaplinski's night at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Stockholm on May 15, 1987. Ivo Illiste introduces the poet and recites the translations of his poetry. Jaan Kaplinski reads his poetry first in Swedish, then in Estonian and Illiste adds a Swedish translation. Kaplinski reads his poems in English. Projection of the slides of artist Kaljo Põllu's printmaking series "Kodalased" and "Kalivägi". At the end of the evening, Jaan Kaplinski answers to the audience's questions.
