Codename: Timeless (2018)

Codename: Timeless is a story world about what memories can mean for the characters involved; are they good? Are they bad? Do we need them? What would our world look like if we could manipulate our memories?

Emily (Anastasia Popova), a young journalist, turns 22 and realizes she can now recover her blocked memories. She applies for extraction but is strangely rejected. She has never heard someone being rejected before. She suspects MEMOtech’s CEO Victor (Jie Yin), is responsible when she overhears a strange call and she investigates him. Frank (Sean Westbrook), a member of MEMOtech, former CEO and co-founder decides to help. During the extraction procedure something goes wrong and both Frank and Emily discover hidden facts about their past. Frank finds code for an artificial intelligence program that was hidden years ago by Margaret, his past friend, and Emily discovers who killed her parents. In the end Emily recovers her lost memories and Frank reaps the results of his past actions. Some questions remain though. How did this conflict all start?
