Sünopsis

2nd conference of the International Anti-Communist League takes place in former Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), the capital of Vietnam, in December 1968. The airplanes prepares for landing, a beautiful view of the landscape and settlement passing by. Reception of the delegates at the airport, Arvo Horm among those arriving. Car ride through the city to Hotel Majestic. The hotel window overlooks the docked ships, the largest is a battleship. The flower wreath is put on the monument. Opening of the conference, speeches. Delegates are taken to the president's reception to the Palace of Independence. Taking a group photo in front of the palace. National culture programme: a women's choir performing, Vietnamese women in national costumes dancing, an opera duet. Streets of Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). Conference continues. Arvo Horm represents Sweden and the Baltic Committee. City views: theatre building, city hall, street traders. There are many military servicemen, peace officers of both local police and military police. Exposition of military equipment in the open air, most of it of Soviet origin. Stands introducing crimes by the Communists. Delegates are examining the guns, Arvo Horm in front of the map of Indochinese Peninsula. Flight to another territory of Vietnam. Delegates continue free conversation in a palace by the ocean. There is also the President of Vietnam Republic present. Having a dinner on the terrace. Return flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).
