Plot summary
Documentary film follows a few young provincial Swedish girls who are pending between the flaws of highly demanding society and self-sufficient personality.
“Swedish Girls” is a short documentary that reveals a hidden issue of standardised appearance and social pressure on young girls, who are supposed to live according the norms and look in certain way, which makes them refer to themselves as “not good enough”. Shot on locaEon in Sweden, featuring several situaEons with young girls involved, film discloses the flaws of highly demanding society and brings out an unexpected self-sufficient personality of Swedish girls.
