Discover The Rich Space Around The Corner (2005)

Artists around the world can stay for free in Mooste International Guest Studio in Põlva county, Estonia, on condition that the artist staying in the old manor will leave a creative trace in the local village life. Two different worlds meet in a small rural area: there are decayed buildings that once belonged to a collective farm next to the ensemble of manor buildings that have been preserved well and houses the well-equipped artist studio. The idealistic, bizarre world of artists is opposed by the rigidly conventional world view of the local people who prefer folk culture. Yet, the essence of the creation by the two different communities is both similar and conflicting.
