Endel Lippmaa gives Toronto CBC TV channel's new programme an interview from Washington. Lippmaa comments on the events that took place in Vilnius 1991 when fourteen people died when defending Vilnius TV Tower and Lithuanian TV and Radio House attacked by the Soviet forces. More than a thousand people got injuries during the attack. Lippmaa assumes that Estonia and Latvia are also not protected from similar attacks by the Soviet army. He thanks Canadian press for their attention and believes that world-wide press has a great responsibility for reflecting international events.
