In September 1991 Baltic Federation in Canada held a festive dinner in Westin Harbor Castle Hotel in Toronto in order to celebrate the restoration of independence of the Baltic states. More than 800 participants were present, including Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians, members of Canadian government and parliament, city advisers of Toronto.The film depicts the socializing part of the dinner party. We can see Arvo Niitenberg, Udo Petersoo, Ilmar Heinsoo and others. Toomas Trei, the Secretary of the Baltic Federation in Canada, holds a welcome speech.
