Plot summary

Tarvi Roos's short film tells about reconciliation with destiny and the continuation of life.

16-year-old Emma (Kätiin Helena Huttunen) and her mother (Merje Poom) have lost their father and now they’re in the process of moving to a new home to start over fresh. Emma’s mother is busy with work, so she isn’t there to help her. Not only has Emma decide between keeping and throwing away their belongings, she also has to clean up her father’s old belongings. While cleaning those items, she finds something unusual - a memory stick. As it has an appearance of rather belonging to herself and not to her father, she wants to find out what could be on it, so she decides to plug it into her computer. To her disappointment, it doesn’t work. While she’s back at cleaning the apartment, her father (Tambet Tuisk) appears on the com- puter screen alive. Emma isn’t sure what to make of it, so she starts testing it to find out whether it’s really her fa- ther or not. Simple test turns into detailed questions about her life and it doesn’t take long until they start having father-daughter arguments.
