The Eternal Road (2017)

During the 1930s great depression Stalin invites all the workers of the world to come build a new society based on justice, equality and freedom. More than 10.000 Americans answers this call. One of them is Jussi Ketola, an American with Finnish origins. However, the dream of a communistic paradise is quickly shattered when Jussi is harassed by fascist thugs on one side and the Soviet secret police on the other. Despite the many challenges Jussi manages to settle down in the community and build a family, but as the political climate changes the foreigners become unwanted elements in Stalin’s communist regime and people start disappearing.
