An actress, suffering from midlife crisis, gets a role in a theatre performance alongside a famous actor, performing the touching story of friendship between world-known Nobel laureate Ivan Bunin and Russian emigrant poet from Estonia Maria Karamsina. While performing the play, the actors’ sympathy surpasses the theatre stage, growing into something bigger in real life.
