Filip has created a mailbox where people can put in letters that are addressed to nobody. His reality is defined by the content of these letters – therefore – by ideas, feelings and lives of strangers. He has created his own universe, where the time is slow and almost absent.
Alma is fascinated by Filip's way of life. However, she dreams about a life where there are endless opportunities and where the time is rapid. As she receives a confirmation letter from some work place, she decides to leave Filip, to leave the immaginary reality they have been sharing, and start to live fully. However, on her way towards the new life, a decision that some stranger has made will force her to choose between Filip and her dreams once again.
There is a 64 years old man, whose personality is a complete mystery throughout the story, but exactly this is the man, who indirectly interrupts with Alma’s reality, possibly changing her actions and even life.
