Wounds of Afghanistan

„Wounds of Afghanistan“ is a film about Estonian men currently in their forties whose lives were changed forever during the period of 1979-1989 when Estonians were forced to fight with the Soviet army in Afghanistan. When twenty-year old, they were sent by the Soviet authorities to the Afghan War where no-one had ever left as a winner. This was a a war for foreign country and unknown purposes. Every man tried to escape – few succeeded.
