About film: Tõnu Virve (2015)

During the interview, one of the best known Estonian and Soviet film artists and directors Tõnu Virve introduces the film world and the experience of working with different film directors. The interview gives a clear picture of how does the work in the film medium look like and what has Virve given up to this total devotion to cinema. Having both, an artist's and also a theatre artist's background, Virve speaks vividly about the creation story of “Dead Mountaineer’s Hotel” and its soundtrack. He opens up the tricks of the director, Kromaov, that had to be taken into use to make a film in the Soviet Union.
