Harald Haberman (1904-1986), a Communist and later an acknowledged biologist, held a position of the chief of public defence for two years during the occupation of Estonia in 1940. Haberman recollects his experience with Toompea Castle. The filmmakers have used materials from the collections of central archives of film, photographs and phonographs of Estonian SSR, Museum of History of Estonian SSR, central archives of the history of Estonian SSR and Tallinn City Museum.
