Lithuanian autumn. A young man studying in a Catholic seminary stands at the crossroads of his life: he has to decide whether to choose serving the God or living civil life. His uncle, a priest, tries to explain the young man the meaning of religious love, but leaves the decision making open for him. The young man meets an Estonian girl who takes part in striptease performances. The young couple decides to leave their former life; however, destiny has its own way.
