Ski race began (1953)

The ski race for the youth of trade unions and Communist Party held in Mustamäe district, Tallinn.  

Skiers near the outdoor pool in Mustamäe district where the ski race starts. Men's distance is 10km, women's distance is 5 km. Skiers at race: the competition of both men and women are shown in turns. Finish of the ski race – one male skier has broken a ski and bravely finishes with only one ski. Happy winners at the finish line. Raul Murdsalu and Uno Kocher were the winner among male racers during the first ski race day.
