Evi Tihemets (1932) has been among the leading graphic artists in Estonia for a half of century. She has practised various techniques, most of all colourful lithography, soft-ground etching, intaglio printing techniques as well as mixed techniques. TIhemets has created miniature graphic art, portrays as well as monumental art, illustrated books and started silk printing in Estonia. Her work still surprises with creative joy and fresh ideas.
