Poetical documentary film of the longing for and the search of happiness between Estonia and Finland.

More than 70,000 Estonians live and work in Finland, at the same time as their families, parents, children and homes are in Estonia. The documentary film speaks about adjusting to new conditions, sticking to and loosing one’s roots, the yearning for and the search for happiness. The film is a humorously wistful documentation of families living in the snowy fields of Lapland, apartments in Vantaa, on the staircases of shopping malls, at construction sites, hotel lobbies, and of grandchildren in the living rooms of Estonian grandmothers who are waiting for their children to come home.

Short film directed by Ivan Pavlyuchkov telling about a perfect summer day, love and feeling alienated in his homeland.

Two young people in love, Kadri and Ivan, go to the countryside in order to celebrate the Midsummer's Eve and to meet Kadri's parents. However, things are not going that well for Ivan, a Russian man. The perfect summer day will take an unexpected turn when Ivan finds himself in an opposition with Kadri's family and himself. First he confronts with Kadri's father and later with all the people in the village. The Midsummer's Eve becomes a true nightmare for Ivan, also endangering Kadri and Ivan's relationship.
