Enrico Barone comes from the eccentric and vibrant city of Naples in Italy. After graduating from the University of Rome, in the Department of Slavic and Finnish-Ugrian Cultural Studies and Film Theory, Enrico studied graphic design and commercial photography in Naples. Later on he first moved to Prague and then to Tallinn. In 2017 Enrico graduated from the Baltic Film and Media School, Department of Film and Audiovisual Media, as director and screenwriter of two short films. In addition to that since 2013 he participated in curating the programme of "Riga World Film Festival"
Director Elīza Bēniņa graduated from Baltic Film, Media and Arts School of Tallinn University (Audiovisual Media Bachelor) in 2020. She was born and raised in Rīga (Latvia) and has had interest in arts since childhood. After graduating from high school, she went to Northern Ireland to volunteer in a social centre. There she became interested in social themes, which continue to be main leading element in her films. She is interested in both documentary and fiction as a director, scriptwriter and editor. She has participated with her projects in Global Short Docs Forum (Kiev, 2019) and Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" (2019), worked in Latvian Television (LTV “History Teacher”, 2019) and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (“Meet the Filmmakers”, 2017). In 2021 she made a short documentary “Matz” for ETV “Estonian Stories”. In her filmmaking work she wants to raise awareness and tell the stories of those whose voices are usually silenced.
Director Renato Borrayo Serrano was born in Guatemala in 1992. He graduated from documentary directing at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Directed several films that were shown at many international film festivals. His latest film “Film for Carlos” received Honorary Jury mention at DokLeipzig 2017 and the price for Best Short Film at Docudays UA 2018.
