Sten Sheripov (1975) is an Estonian composer and a music producer. In his work he combines the classical instruments with the most up-to date innovations of the modern sound world, using the dusty vintage gear with the latest tech-explosions. Sheripov has been working on films and TV on daily basis since 2007. His works include many international collaborations. In 2015 he worked with director Kyu-hwan Jeon from South-Korea, in 2016 with Lao-American director Mattie Do on 2017 Laotian Oscar entry Dearest Sister. In 2017 Sheripov created the music for Oscar and Golden Globe nominated Georgian director Zaza Urushadze’s The Confession and for the Finnish TV-series 1917. Sten is also a renowned music producer and songwriter. He has won and been nominated for different music awards and he has played bass and guitar in different rock, punk, electronic and indie bands. Sten is a graduate of the Berlin European Film Academy’s Film and Sound Master Class.
