A Man Who Never Was (1989)

Original title: Inimene, keda polnud

Feature film | Drama Duration 93:03

Imbi Tamm has grown up together with the sounds and voices of radio broadcasting. She becomes an adult during the 1940s - the cataclysmic years in Estonian history. When she starts her career as a radio voice with high hopes and optimism in Stalinist Estonia, she will collide with the reality of the era where people's fate, sufferings and happiness depend on current ideology and government. The film is dedicated to the memory of the radio voices that have been accompanied the lives of many generations.
