Documentary about people who live next to us, Estonians. Some of them have moved to Estonia only a few years ago; however, ancestors of other immigrants have lived here for several generations. Estonia has become their native country. What do the Russians - both academicians and workers, old and young, atheists and religious people - actually think about life in Estonia in early 1990s. Old Believers located by Peipsi Lake, former marine Anatoli Filippov, doctor Yuri Zabalevich, artist Igor Balashov, restorer Yuri Kostin, sociologist Dimitri Mikhailov and others share their thoughts about local life and relations to local people.
