Joke of the Day (2016)

Film is about the relationship between father and son who are both stand up comedians.

The glorious days of the crowd favorite Rein Päev (Jaan Rekkor). Story begins when Rein appears at Ants's show in a cellar bar. After which Rein will ask Ants (Mattias Naan) to perform on his show. Ants agrees, seeing a chance to maybe warm up their relationship.
Next day Ants arrives at Rein's rehearsal. They both have very different ideas of stand- up. The rehearsal doesn't go well and Ants will run out of the theater, followed by angry shouts of Rein.
Their relationship is even worse than before. Ants gets drunk in his local Cellar Bar, and climbs on stage to mock his father. Meanwhile Rein steps into the crowd. Security drags Ants away from the stage, while Rein takes the microphone. He tells a joke, about father and son's relationship. They both start laughing and watch eachother with kindness in their eyes.
