During their winter term, the schoolchildren of Paunvere church parish school - Arno, Teele, Toots, Kiir, Tõnisson and Imelik - experience feelings that they will always remember later in their lives: true friendship, first love, self-discovery and finding one's purpose in life. The story is full of colourful events, vivid characters, elaborate jokes and subtle emotions, telling about the development of young people during the most sensitive years of their lives.
