Fortieth War

Documentary by Andres Sööt has been dedicated to the Narva Battalion of Estonian Grenadiers where the soldiers fought for the independence of the Republic of Estonia in World War 2. These Estonian men who volunteered to Estonian Legion in the autumn of 1942 got a proper training in order to fight in the corps of Wiking SS division against the Soviet troops. The battle of Tannenberg and battles in Ukraine caused many victims; yet, it was not up to them to prevent the second Soviet occupation in Estonia.
